One suite only · Perdasdefogu, Sardinia

You'll be the only guests.

We don't rent rooms: we rent the home, to one booking at a time. Private entrance, living room and kitchen all yours. No other travellers in your spaces, no breakfast shared with strangers, no schedule to keep.

The home

A real home, not just a room with a freshly made bed.

The furnishings are modern and minimal, the house bright and quiet. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed: three people fit without having to split up into separate rooms. Families with children don't have to negotiate an extra bed with anyone.

We prepare breakfast ourselves with local products and serve it whenever you prefer.

Comforts

Name a song, the house plays it.

The house has Alexa with unlimited Amazon Music: just ask. A song with your morning coffee, a timer for the pasta, tomorrow's weather: all by voice.

Illy iperespresso coffee

The Illy iperespresso capsule machine: bar-quality coffee, in your own kitchen.

55-inch TV

Brand new, big, in the living room: for the evenings when the sofa wins.

Fast connection

Fast internet and WiFi throughout the house: streaming and video calls without a thought.

Warm or cool, your call

Air conditioning units in the house: cool in summer, warm in winter, remote in hand.

LED lights everywhere

LED lighting in every room: bright where you need it, warm where you relax.

Brand-new washing machine

At your disposal, and laundry dries in the sun: on the balcony or the terrace.

The village

One of the five places on Earth where people live longest.

Perdasdefogu is one of the world's blue zones and holds two Guinness World Records for the longevity of its inhabitants. It's not brochure talk: it's a registered record, and the village's Museum of Longevity tells the story.

5

Blue zones in the world. This is one of them, and not the famous one: it's still a real village, not a postcard.

2

Guinness World Records earned by the people of Perdasdefogu for the longevity of a single family.

0

Metres between you and the main street: cafés, bakeries, groceries and restaurants are all on foot.

Nearby

The sea in half an hour, canyons behind the house.

We are inland, and that's an advantage: you sleep cool and quiet, and in thirty minutes you're on a beach without paying coastal prices.

From the village, on foot

Sa Brecca de is Tapparas

Canyons and quiet trails that start right here. For hikers and cyclists: empty roads and real climbs.

About 30 minutes

The Ogliastra beaches

The finest sea in eastern Sardinia: there in the morning, back by evening.

Very close

Ulassai

Climbing walls, the works of Maria Lai, and the Su Marmuri cave, among the most impressive in Europe: guided visits inside.

10 minutes away, in the countryside

The river's natural pools

Clear water and little beaches of rock and sand, for swimming surrounded by nature. Tourists come, and so do the locals: the best guarantee there is.

Towards Tertenia

The Luesu waterfalls

A seventy-metre drop among holm oaks and oleanders, south of the village. After the rains, the sight alone is worth the walk.

A few minutes away

The Santa Barbara wood

An equipped wood with a kiosk bar, playground and mini golf, plus tables and cooking spots. You can even book a table through the town hall: a countryside lunch, well organised. Next door, the pine forest for walking and breathing.

Right beside it

Bruncu Santoru park

A nature park created to bring the Sardinian deer back. Deer and wild boar come close enough to take your breath away, children first of all.

Minutes away, on the plateau

The Aliquirra airfield

A real airfield with hangars and a 675-metre runway. You can fly beside the pilot and see Ogliastra from above: an experience you won't forget.

Steps from the B&B

The CEAS Is Tapparas museum

The village's environmental education centre, with a small natural history museum: Sardinian wildlife, minerals, fossils, shells and the story of the local caves. Perfect with children.

In the village and countryside

Workshops and a teaching farm

Local ventures on the rise: a teaching farm to visit with children and artisan workshops that open their doors to the curious. Ask us and we'll put you in touch.

Your bike sleeps indoors

We have bike storage under cover, inside the house. Not in a courtyard, not chained in the street: anyone travelling with a serious bike knows why we write this in bold. The roads around here are quiet with real climbs, and we'll point you to the routes ourselves.

For sporty guests

Small as it is, Perdasdefogu has sports facilities you rarely find inland: tennis, padel, football, volleyball, even a motocross track five minutes away. And right across from the house there's a gym open 24 hours a day.

By car

About an hour and ten minutes from Cagliari, an hour and twenty from Nuoro. Parking outside the house is free, no booking needed.

About us

Antonello and Giorgia

We were born and raised in Perdasdefogu. We're both sporty: we ride bikes, play tennis, padel, football and volleyball, and whenever we can we go looking for the less-trodden trails around here, the ones that often aren't on the maps.

We took our time renovating this house, choosing everything as if we were going to live in it ourselves. We love travelling and we know what makes the difference when you arrive somewhere tired: a clean, quiet space entirely your own, and someone who knows which places are really worth it.

If you're into hiking or cycling around here, just ask: we'll show you the routes we ride ourselves, not the guidebook ones. We'll give you all the space you need, but we're here when you need us.
